A-1 CAREERS is a national, professional placement service with offices in the Kansas/Missouri, Colorado, Arizona, and Iowa areas. Our professional focus includes Finance & Accounting, Mortgage, Human Resouces, Information Technology, Executive, Health Care, Sales, Engineering, Administrative, Clerical and Office Support. We provide professional support in contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire (retained, engaged and contingent) situations. We were founded in December 2000 and have grown both organically and through acquisitions. In September 2006, we acquired PBC Staffing, a 20 year old professional staffing company in Overland Park, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. Further, in February 2007, we acquired Aegis Staffing Services, a nine year old, woman-owned business in Boulder and Westminster, Colorado. All four locations now go to market with the A-1 CAREERS name, continuing to use the best practices and people that made all of these family based entities successful over the years. It is our goal at A-1 CAREERS to understand the job requirements, adapt to the client's culture and provide professionals that meet the personality requirements as well as the skills.
