Aalborg Portland

Aalborg Portland is the sole manufacturer of grey and white cement in Denmark with an annual capacity of 3 million tons of cement, and market leader in the Danish market. We export our products to a number of markets worldwide. Cement and ready-mixed concrete are produced at highly advanced production plants, and we carry out intensive research into improvement of the cement's properties and improvements in terms of the environment and energy. Furthermore, Aalborg Portland has sales and distribution companies in Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Poland, Russia, Italy, Portugal and Australia. Aalborg Portland had in 2009 a net turnover of 445 million EUR and employed around 1,700 employees worldwide.
