aaTag is a two-sided network that makes personal information exchange fast and funny. aaTag bridges the gap between online and offline worlds. We are the MasterCard/Visa/Amex of your personal informat...ion and social graph. Millions of consumers worldwide visit shopping malls, supermarkets, franchisers, hotels and trade fairs. All these consumers are likely to suffer on lines in order to take part in promotions in the malls, to be recognized in the stores they go to, to fill out forms in the hotels and to register in trade fairs. The above mentioned problems have their root in personal information exchange among consumers and companies. The aaTag product, made feasible by the use of Near Field Communication (NFC), makes this exchange simple, fast and on impulse. aaTag rents its product to establishments in order to accelerate the information exchange (name, ID, Tax Payer ID, e-mail, social networks, addresses) through NFC. aaTag’s solution allows people to provide their information quickly, without contact (NFC) and with privacy control. Each person has a card that works as a “micro pen drive” (flash drive), permitting information exchange via radio waves, without physical contact, making the data exchange fast and efficient. Badges used to release turnstiles to buildings only by coming close to them, are a similar example of this technology.
