Abbey Placements

Ken Poirier, owner at Abbey Placements, has been in the staffing industry since 1978. He opened Abbey Placements in 1982 in the old Unity Building in downtown Bloomington. Some of his areas of expertise included sales, manufacturing, retail, food service, finance, accounting, and programmer analysts, as well as many office level positions. In 1994, Abbey Placements began placing workers in temporary assignments in addition to direct hire/permanent placements. Today, we place people in temporary, temp-to-perm, contract, and direct hire/permanent positions. We specialize in the areas of manufacturing and customer service. Our staff strives to develop and maintain long standing relationships with our client companies. We have many long standing accounts with as few as one or two workers, or up to fifty or more workers at a time!
