Atlas Building Group was developed at its inception with a focus on commercial and industrial construction. At the time, the Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois construction market was driven by ground up construction of retail centers, education, manufacturing, and aviation. During that time frame, ABG built retail centers, schools, warehouses, and aviation facilities. With the financial crisis looming and ABG foreseeing ground up construction and government projects declining, ABG refocused its forces into what we believed would be the future of the construction market. Our construction emphasis changed to focusing almost exclusively on retail construction and has evolved into renovation of existing retail centers and tenant retail construction. This emphasis has led ABG to become an industry leader in facade and retail redevelopment in our region. Over the past five years, ABG has completed a vast number of major redevelopments/facade renovations as well as 200 retail projects for various retailers and owners. ABG has completed projects in Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Missouri and we continue to expand as our clients' needs grow. ABG obtained our contractor's license in the state of Tennessee as a commercial contractor with unlimited exposure limit. This is the highest level of qualification that can be obtained in the state of Tennessee by a General Contractor and allows ABG to perform any project at any monetary value within the state. ABG's ability to carry out projects in various locations has been a benefit to our clients and we will continue to strive to be a valuable asset that can travel to areas where we are needed so that our clients know they are getting the best construction services available.
