Established in 1982, Allen Brackett Shedd (formerly known as Bruce C. Allen & Associates, Inc.) has been providing real estate appraisal and consulting services for an expanding client base throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our client list includes many municipalities and public entities, a wide range of small and large companies, law firms, individuals, as well as most major financial institutions. We provide appraisals for all types of commercial real estate, as well as specialized properties such as airports, master planned communities, industrial waterfront, and timberlands. Our broad range of experience includes special benefit studies, LIDs, highest and best use analyses, tax appeals, conservation easements, transferable development rights analysis, and corridor valuations. Our appraisal and consulting services are used for financing, sale, purchase, asset management, court proceedings, and condemnations. The firm maintains longstanding relationships with a variety of consultants to facilitate its “team approach� to solving complex real estate issues. The firm is comprised of four MAI appraisers, five Senior Associates who are Washington State Certified general appraisers, and one Associate appraiser. Our excellent support staff provides the research and production capabilities necessary to manage a variety of projects. We utilize the latest technologies to ensure proficient and secure delivery of services. The firm's involvement in major public projects includes presentations of appraisal study results and conclusions to municipalities and citizens at public hearings.
