ACD Elektronik GmbH is among the prize winners of the world-renowned prize for innovation, the German Innovation Award. The prize was awarded for the entry "Industrial Handheld Computers Reconceptualized: the Modular M2Smart® Platform" in the category "#W2 Excellence in Business to Business - Information Technologies | Industry Specific and Service Softwares". The German Innovation Award is awarded once a year by the German Design Council for innovations which advance the industry due to their originality, implementation and effectiveness. ACD Elektronik GmbH beat out over 700 submissions with its entry for the M2Smart® Mobile Handheld Computer.
