ACG Pam Pharma Technologies Pvt
ACG has always believed in furthering the responsibilities that it shoulders in being a 'healthcare' service provider. As an efficacious organization it actively seeks to improve the health and happiness of communities and people close to its manufacturing units. The backbone of ACG's social activities remains Health and Education. Over the years, ACG has grown more conscious environmentally, built a strong foundation for community development and evolved as a responsible corporate citizen. This will continue for the years to come. Within Health, ACG has had a staunch acclamation since 1965 for providing support to the physically challenged. In fact, the capsule plants offered 20% of its vacancies towards them and accommodated their needs in every way. ACG also hosts frequent blood donation camps, organized in partnership with some of the most popular blood banks like Tata Memorial Hospital and Cancer Research Institute, Akshay Blood Bank and many more. Other initiatives include ACG Arogyamitra and ACG Urban Community Centre. The objective of ACG Arogyamitra is to strengthen the quality of healthcare available to community to create awareness, and hence, support disease prevention efforts in community. ACG Urban Community Centre also aims to support 'basti' (slum) dwellers with life skills especially the teenagers/youth by partnering with a non-profit organization, SNEHA. ACG is also a firm believer of 'Empowering through Education.' Redevelopment of schools, funding scholarships, distribution of books and seminars to create awareness regarding the pharmaceutical industry are on a constant agenda. ACG has undertaken 'Shikshanprayas' - a cornerstone program to enhance the quality of education and employability of community surrounding its factories. Initiatives under this program involve installing basic amenities like benches, desks, educational games, fencing around the play area at schools. The program also involves developing laboratories, donating equipment and setting up IT infrastructure.
