Arizona Career and Technical Education Association
The Association for Career and Technical Education of Arizona (ACTEAZ) is a volunteer professional non-profit association for Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and administrators to provide leadership in developing an educated, prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce. Our primary goals are to provide professional development for CTE professionals and to increase public awareness about the value and importance of CTE. Who does ACTEAZ represent? The strength of ACTEAZ is reflected in its diverse membership composed of more than 1,200 career and technical educators, administrators, researchers, guidance counselors and others involved in planning and conducting career and technical education programs at the junior high, secondary, post-secondary and adult levels. What does ACTEAZ do? ACTEAZ is committed to enhancing the job performance and satisfaction of its members; to increasing public awareness and appreciation for career and technical programs; and to assuring growth in local, state and federal funding for these programs in conjunction with the National ACTE organization in actively communicating and working with legislators and government leaders.
