Acuitas Medical

The mission of Acuitas Medical is the development and commercialisation of our unique magnetic resonance-based diagnostic technique, Fine Structure Analysis (fineSA®) for the in-vivo characterisation of the spacing of anatomical structure on a fine scale. Changes in anatomical structures are associated with the early stages of a number of diseases. The company's leadership team is based in Swansea, Wales, and between its members has decades of experience at the forefront of medical imaging. The company was founded in May 2006 and has to date been funded by a combination of private investments and grants. Our patented software tools work as an add-on to existing magnetic resonance imaging hardware allowing the proprietary data to be acquired in as little as 16 seconds. The information is then analysed and returned as a report. The company's quality system and product has ISO13485 certification . The acquisition tool, analysis system and display are all protected by patent.
