We design and build many one-of-a-kind furniture pieces and en suite interiors, lasting testaments from the hands of our skilled craftsmen. Our signature works evolve from an informed rapport between designer and artisan. Some creations require months of painstaking effort. Our patron/clients share our interests in high-craft and classic style, including the sketch work, wood selection, and techniques found in Renaissance culture. Great skill and manual dexterity is required to carve leaf patterns and inlayed flower motifs. Bellflower petal inlays, for example, are individually gouge-cut, then knifed into the wood with hand tools. Each petal is then shaded with hot sand, overlapped, and hand-etched to create visual realism. Our drawer sides are made from tight-grain, quartersawn wood, chosen for seasonal stability.
