Get to know our Medical Director: Stanley J. Dombek, Jr., M.D. F.A.C.S. Dr. Dombek, a native Oklahoman who graduated from St. Michaels High School in Henryetta, Oklahoma, is a highly-skilled physician with years of clinical experience. At Advanced Body Scan, he leads our team of medical professionals and technicians and supports patients who seek guidance. He comes from a 28-year surgical career with primary focus on cardiovascular, thoracic and vascular diseases. Presently, his career emphasis is centered on the early diagnosis and prevention of the ravages of atherosclerosis. Dr. Dombek holds a B.S. degree from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 1967 and completed a rotating internship at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He completed his general surgery residency ay St. Anthony's Hospital (1968-1972) and served in the United States Air Force (USAF) 1972-1974, Major, Honorable Discharge. He was certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) in 1975 and completed a Thoracic and Cardiovascular Residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas from 1974 to 1976. He is a member of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, ABTS 1977, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a lifetime member of the Oklahoma State Medical Association (OSMA), and Oklahoma County Medical Society (OCMS).
