African Foundation for Environment and Development

African Foundation for Environment and Development (AFED) is a Non-Governmental and Not-for-Profit Organization established with a focal point on Democracy and Good Governance, Health and Environment. We focus on the Local Government arm of the Government in the implementation of their policies and programs, with the hope of building effective governance and service delivery viz-a-viz democratic dividends at the Local Government level. We organize Political Debates prior to elections and also participate in Election observation with creation of Elections Situation room to monitor our observers on the field. Under Environment, we look at Agriculture and Climate Change. In the Area of Agriculture, we organize Free Agric Training for Retirees, Traders, Artisans, Women and Youths.
