Africa Design Award

Africa Design Award, founded by designer Hicham Lahlou, is an initiative to assert and promote Design in Africa. Carried out by influential members and experts worldwide, all passionate about Africa and sharing the same vision of progress for the continent, Africa Design Award aims to position Africa in the heart of the global design scene, a strategy that aspires to create one of the largest networks of emerging design, all countries and all categories. This major initiative is a first for the design in Africa. For the founder of the project, the designer Hicham Lahlou, Africa Design Award is a vision for Africa, beyond highlighting the creative force of the talents of the continent; it is an ambitious challenge that aims to place the design at the heart of a dynamic progress and consistency for future projects. Africa Design Award consists of a jury and a committee, both composed of personalities, presidents of major groups, journalists, media owners, experts in all fields, major design editors, economic, financial and cultural actors … operating worldwide.
