African Laughter
African Laughter was founded in 2007, by international business journalist Jenny Luesby, as an independent producer of editorial content. It has grown to become a prominent supplier to the Kenyan and international media industry, with over 1000 by-lines in NMG publications, Standard Group newspapers, and many magazines and foreign news services. It has also developed its own online media channels, including family website KenyaKidz.com, and farmers' news service FarmBizAfrica.com, and is the developer and owner of East Africa's largest PR news distribution service PRAlerts. African Laughter produces and syndicates over 30,000 words a week of quality and original news content in Kenya, to South Africa, Germany and for its own news services, which have a readership of over 2 million views a month. The company has also built a parallel PR business and is now one of Kenya's larger PR agencies with 20 staff dedicated to delivering outstanding PR and marketing services for a wide range of multinational and blue chip clients, with specialisms in finance, real estate, manufacturing, ICT, health and education.
