For more than 15 years, the company has offered its services to various organisations on the African continent, both in the private and public sectors. " We are at ease in all sectors, private as well as public. Among the projects that we have successfully completed, we have, for example, implemented a system to manage Old Age Pension in Botswana and Lesotho" says Sylvain Deslandes , CEO of AGILEUM. The range of activities of the company encompasses a Weigh-In-Motion System in Botswana, the Payroll Systems of the largest sugar company in Mozambique, and a comprehensive Wildlife Management System in Africa, showcasing the vastness of our operations and the flexibility of our resources. With no less than 60 collaborators across Africa, AGILEUM engages itself through its partners in six to seven African countries. "To have, among our staff, Africans on the ground, constitutes a sizeable advantage. They communicate more easily with our clients and enable us to remain attentive to them" explains Hugues Sauzier. AGILEUM also wants to increase its presence in Madagascar where the prospects of development are interesting. "The potential in terms of human resources and technology in Madagascar already interests large companies. On our side, we welcome Malagasy people in Mauritius to train them and redeploy them in Africa" adds Sylvain Deslandes. For the future, AGILEUM wishes to consolidate its positioning on the different markets by constantly implementing new technological offers. The company is determined to promote Mauritius on the African continent. "Our achievements in Mauritius can be our credentials for the African market" says Hugues Sauzier. AGILEUM wants to create a consortium of Mauritian companies to export local expertise and together win a share of the African market. " We favour collaboration, and not necessarily competition, the idea being to federate local companies with compatible interests, while promoting the Mauritian expertise on the African continent. We want to develop solutions 'Made in Mauritius' tailored to African needs" adds Hugues Sauzier.
