Air Malawi
Air Malawi Limited is the national airline of the Republic of Malawi and wholly owned by the country's government. The airline has its headquarters is in Blantyre, Malawi with Chileka International Airport, Blantyre as its main base and Kamuzu International Airport, Lilongwe as its operational hub. The airline began operations in 1964 as a subsidiary of Central African Airways. In 1967, an independent national airline was formed, after the dissolution of the latter, to concentrate on international, regional and domestic routes. For over 42 years, the airline has built up a highly positive reputation for safety, customer service and punctuality.
