Aitken Howard Ltd is a leading hardwood timber merchant. We hold a full range of premium constructional hardwoods and are the UK's largest importer and stockholder of Guyanese Greenheart. We cut to order at our own sawmill near Glasgow. We are therefore uniquely positioned to provide flexible value-added solutions for civil and marine engineering projects in UK and International markets. We enjoy a very close working relationship with our suppliers in Guyana - where we've been working since the late 1970's - and we also import timbers from hand-picked suppliers in Africa, South East Asia and North America. We visit our suppliers several times a year strengthening our relationships for the benefit of our wide range of customers. Aitken Howard is part of the Gilmour and Aitken family business.
