Mediterranean Exporter Associations

On March 19th, 1940, the exporters got united under a single status. The first of the Exporters 'Association was founded with the decree no 2/6107 signed on March, 4th 1937 upon proposition no 4887/62 submitted by the Minister of Economy on January 30th , 1937 by virtue of the Article 7 of the Law no 3018, bearing the signature of our Great Leader Atatürk. Mediterranean Exporter Associations began its activities in 1940 with three exporters' associations: Çukurova Cotton Exporters' Association, Livestock Exporters' Association of South Provinces and Mersin Grain, Pulses and Oily Seeds Exporters' Association and nowadays, 8 different Exporters' Associations are gathered under the same roof.
