Our establishment believes that the best ways to cultivate quality research data is to promote a more traditional patient, care-provider relationship. This would be done by putting patients first, facilitating greater patient compliance and improving the loss to follow-up ratio in research subjects. To incorporate this strategy we have carefully identified Physicians who share our values and maintain a relationship with their patients different from contemporary client-provider associations that are so often removed from compassion and dispense healthcare more like a commodity and less like a necessary service. Longwood works to change this attitude and has been successfully working with this unique approach for the past few years. With a diverse group of sincere, passionate doctors and healthcare providers Longwood Research aims to set new standards in research and site management. Through a dedicated and energetic work force, collective experience of over two decades and a patient pool that has been tuned with the significance and benefits of research, we continue to make the nationally acclaimed success a base to build on and continue improving. The process of discovering new drugs and enhancing the current ones in humans is known as clinical research. For those of us who have chosen this noble avenue as our career, the time has come to modify the perception of business in this field and incorporate core values of care for subjects, honesty and integrity in data collection and absolute professionalism in the operations therein.
