Since 2006, Alcero has been providing an Intranet in-a-box solution that incorporates SharePoint and our Alexya product (providing functionality for your intranet not found in SharePoint itself) as well as services using the best practices in the field. In 2013, we improved and updated our In-a-box solutions (project management, contract management, extranet, IDM) in order to offer a scalable approach for Intranet in-a-box installations. Our approach meets a significant need for organizations that wish to use a suite of solutions based on SharePoint, while deploying them within a three-year plan in a logical sequence. In the next article, my colleague Bruno Simon will discuss an example of a deployment framework that we use for our Intranet in-a-box sites.
