All American Basketball School

All American Basketball School is regarded as one of the premier youth basketball programs in the State of Florida mostly based on the incredible staff of high school coaches and current NCAA players. We call it "School" instead of "Camp" due to our focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game we love so much. Coach Adam Ross has lived, breathed and dreamed sports his entire life. While growing up in South Florida, he excelled in both basketball and baseball, eventually earning a baseball scholarship to The University of Maryland. Upon graduation, Coach Adam returned home to begin his business career while simultaneously beginning his coaching career. Coach Adam coached middle school boys basketball at St. Mark's Catholic School in Southwest Ranches where he spent four seasons amassing a 45-3 record. That led him to The Sagemont School where as head coach, he has transformed Sagemont in to a national powerhouse and perennial state championship contender. Coach Adam is a three time Sun-Sentinel Coach of the Year and in 2011 and 2014 was named The Florida Dairy Farmers State Coach of the Year. In 2011, Sagemont won its first ever state championship in a team sport. This past season, his Sagemont Lions finished the season with a perfect record (33-0) and won their second state championship. This was the first time in 80 years that a team from Broward County finished as undefeated state champions. Coach Ross has led his team to an astonishing six trips to the Florida State Final 4 (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015) and has sent 31 players off to college basketball with full scholarships at such school such as Syracuse, Indiana, UCLA, Arizona State, etc. One of his players (Fab Melo) was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 1st round of the 2012 NBA Draft. In business, Coach Adam had the unique experience of sitting on the Board of Advisers with the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats from 2003-2008. One of his fellow Board Members was NBA great, and now majority owner of the Bobcats, Michael Jordan. Coach Adam has run All American Basketball Camp at The Sagemont School for 4 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to share with each and every camper. Camp Director, Coach Darryl Burrows is the head boys basketball coach at Dillard High School where he has won 5 state championships! Coach Burrows has spent his entire life mentoring and teaching the game of basketball to South Florida's youth. Coach Burrows was honored by being selected to coach the 2010 McDonald's All-American game, an honor reserved for only the premier high school coaches in America. Coach Burrows has helped numerous players obtain their goal of playing college basketball as well as professional basketball including the 10th overall pick of the 2000 NBA Draft, Keyon Dooling. Coach Burrows will be on the floor each and every day of camp and enjoys working individually with young players interested in improving their games.
