Allamon Tool
Allamon Tool Company was founded in 1997 with the introduction of the original ATC Diverter Sub. Designed to improve overall liner or subsea casing running operations, this breakthrough surge reduction product became even more capable in 1999 with the introduction of the Downhole Drop Ball Sub and ATC Subsea Plug System. With this float equipment with large inside diameters floats, Allamon Tool could now optimize running liners or subsea casing with surge reduction. Recognized as the pioneer in surge reduction, Allamon Tool has completed more than 1,200 surge reduction jobs. The continued advances in Allamon processes, designs and execution have helped the company maintain its leadership in surge reduction technology. Company founder and Executive Vice President Jerry Allamon and his veteran employees have decades of hands-on experience in all phases of drilling and completion operations domestically. This experience makes the company familiar with most, if not all, traditional drilling and completion equipment. In 2003, Allamon Tool Company acquired Braveaux Liner Hanger Company. That acquisition laid the groundwork for the design and development of new liner hanger equipment and several unique liner running tools. The company's long history of innovation continues, most recently with the development of a new hybrid running tool and hanger design.
