We also have developed a formal program where we have established a relationship with a charitable organization in Regina and one in Saskatoon, coordinating an effort as one, to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Our objective is to help inner city and at-risk youth to reach their potential. We do this by corporate funding assistance, volunteering, mentoring and support of various programs in the organization. Investment in youth takes place with a sincere respect for their natural intelligence, creating an atmosphere of hope and possibility. The organization that was chosen in Regina was The North Central Family Centre. The centre is located in Regina's most troubled neighbourhood and their mission is to provide programming, activities and services for the area children that will help them reach their potential. We have been actively involved with the North Central Family Centre and have been able to help by donating computers and books for their Literacy Centre Program, raising money and volunteering to give the children a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, assisted with gifts for the children and funds to help with their Christmas dinner. The organization of choice in Saskatoon was Care & Share. Care & Share works in Saskatoon's community and inner-city schools. We were assigned Mayfair School and have worked directly with the Principal and Community Co-ordinator to explore areas that require attention. Mayfair School offers breakfast, lunch and snacks to 200 or so students. Alliance Energy renovated the kitchen, hosted an Electrical Trade Day for the Grade 8 students, funded new science/lab equipment ("Alliance for Science"), helped serve Christmas dinner, judge Dance Off competitions and interacts with the students. Alliance Energy supports the maintenance of the environment in which we live. To assist environmental strategies we support innovation and sustainability. One of our external goals is to provide our customers with knowledge they need to make sound environmental decisions in their building requirements. We also have a comprehensive Recycling program providing our employees knowledge and opportunities for recycling. Recycling is one of the best ways for all of us to have a positive impact on our world. Health and Safety of our employees and others ensures the health and safety of our community.
