All-South Subcontractors, Inc. is one of the largest family-owned roofing and fireproofing contractors in the United States. Started in 1957, it has become one of the top specialty contractors in the country. Through those many years and significant growth, we never lost our commitment to providing the highest quality workmanship and timely performance along with a commitment to personally satisfying the needs of each and every customer. Formerly Bonitz Insulation Company of Alabama, our business originally began in drywall and acoustical ceilings and soon expanded to other specialty areas. In 1976, we installed the first single-ply roof in Alabama. Since that time, we have installed more than 75 million square feet of warranted commercial roofing for both new and existing buildings. We are also a leading contractor for cellular lightweight insulating concrete roof decks, metal roof coatings, and spray applied insulation. Our roofing service and maintenance department is second to none in providing service, maintenance, inspection, and repair, with emergency response 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our personal service extends to providing a branch office in Spanish Fort (Mobile), Alabama, in addition to our corporate offices in Birmingham, Alabama. We have developed a reputation for quality workmanship and timely performance by some of the best crews in the business. ow did we gain this reputation? First, we employ some of the most experienced crews in the business. Rather than recruiting labor on-site, we train and employ our own personnel, many of whom have been with us from 12 - 15 years. Our foremen have worked with us an average of over 13 years, and our project managers and estimators have been with us an average of over 16 years.
