All Wales Boat
The All Wales Boat Show is a celebratory festival of all water-based activities and is unique to the Region with a catchment area that covers not only all of Wales but also the North West, West Midlands and the Celtic Nations of Isle of Man, Scotland and Ireland. The event was established in 2008 and ran successfully in August for four years at the Faenol Estate in Bangor attracting over 100 exhibitors and on average 3,500 visitors per day. Since January 2012 the Show has been under new management with the aim to develop the event to provide a highly professional all encompassing watersport extravaganza with an events and entertainment programme which appeals to not only watersport enthusiasts but also those that wish to get on the water or just watch the action. Each year the event runs in May/June, this is dependent on the tide. The event location in 2013 and 2014 was held in Conwy, which boasts two Marinas (Conwy and Deganwy) with 700 berths and a Harbour with over 400 swinging moorings, Conwy already has a reputation for being an outstanding watersport amenities, Conwy is also a major tourist attraction in its own right and is therefore able to provide the infrastructure for such an event - corporate hospitality venues, accommodation, eating establishments and plenty of vantage viewing points. In 2015 the event moved to Pwllheli. Pwllheli is situated on the South of Lleyn Peninsula in the County of Gwynedd and gives access to Abersoch, Cardigan Bay, the Isle of Anglesey and the East Coast of Ireland.
