Al Manarah

AlManarah is the first organization of its kind within Arab Israel society. It was launched in 2005 by a group of grassroots activists, led by Adv. Abbass Abbass, himself a person with a visual disability. In Arabic, "AlManarah" means "lighthouse", reflecting our organization's commitment to serve as a beacon of information about disability rights and a source of empowerment for the disabled community. Through our social advocacy and legislative activities, we strive to lead the way forward for civil society organizations in Israel, the Arab world, and beyond.
