Alpha Group is a conglomerate of companies operating from Sub Saharan Africa and Gulf Countries for last 50 years. Alpha Group has a strong presence in several major export oriented industries and the activities are consolidated in two divisions namely the Marine & Logistics Division and Food Division. The products of the Food Division of the Group are marketed and distributed through a well-managed network to countries ranging from Far East to America, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. The Alpha Group food products are distributed across the world under different brand names - Alpha, Rock and Kuruma. At present, Alpha Group directly employs over 6,000 people in its companies including professional expatriate staff of different nationalities in specialized areas in the management of the companies. Alpha Group provides indirect employment to another 1,000 people through the support staff in the fishery-related activities. The Groups present annual turnover is in excess of USD 150 Million with total workforce of 7,000 comprising of different nationalities.
