ALTRANS, Alternative Transportation Solutions, is an award-winning Transportation Demand Management (TDM) company that specializes in the development and implementation of Vehcile Trip Reduction Program services. Since 1991, we have been providing comprehensive alternative transportation programs to employers, colleges, K-12 schools, cities, developers and residential groups in the San Francisco Bay Area by providing a variety of Transportation, Planning and Advocacy Services. From its inception, ALTRANS has reduced thousands of commuter vehicle-miles-traveled in the region, which has directly reduced traffic congestion, improved automobile, bicycle and pedestrian safety, improved ambient air quality, reduced our dependence on non-renewable energy sources all while improving the quality of life in the greater Bay Area.
