Ambidextro is an independent website design consultancy based in Oaxaca and Mexico City, founded in 1998 to help companies, organisations and individuals to benefit from the Internet. David Sutherland, the sole proprietor of Ambidextro, is a self-taught, freelance, website developer with an academic background in Electronic Engineering and a life-long passion for photography, the visual arts and the world of music. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, he attended the University of Strathclyde(1986-1991) in Glasgow, graduating with honours, before moving abroad to live in Oaxaca, Mexico where he gained substancial expertise in the local folk-art and handicrafts scene. David is fluent in Spanish and has more than 10 years of professional experience in the fields of Business Consultancy, Computer Programming, Export Management and teaching English as a Foreign Language. He collaborates on projects with private enterprises, federal government agencies, non-profit organisations and NGO's.
