Amcham

The Colombian-American Chamber of Commerce, AmCham, Antioquia & Caldas chapter, is an independent, non-profit business organization founded on 25 June 1987. The Association gathers Colombian, American and foreign companies and carries out an active work agenda aimed at promoting trade and investment between the United States and Colombia as well as with other countries in the region. In Colombia, the AmCham has divisions in Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena and over 1,000 member companies. Nearly 150 of these companies are based in the departments of Antioquia & Caldas. Collectively, AmCham members represent approximately 24 percent of the national GDP.
