American Consumer Products
American Consumer Products was established in 1992 under the name of Alliance Consumer Industries in Los Angeles. Within four years, it acquired a sophisticated modern and large facility in Los Angeles from International Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Company (ICPL), hence, enabling introduction of many new product lines and diversification into HBC, OTC Pharmaceuticals and Household Cleaner. Private label and contract packaging products were contracted for a large number of clients, which ranged from Family Dollar Stores to Safeway/Vons supermarkets, Kroger and many more. The company was taken public in 1998 on Nasdaq Small Cap Bulletin Board, Ticker (ACIL). The Company was acquired by Aaron Industries in 1999 to expand their East Coast operation into West Coast. The current owners established American Consumer Products that totally revamped the products lines under it's own brands as well as private label for national chain here. ACP runs it's own office in China and offers full QC, and BV testing prior to shipment to it's clients. After many years working with several factories in China, ACP became partner in two different manufacturing plants offering a wide range of product lines for North and South American markets. In 2006, ACP added a new division, American Sanitary Products (ASP). Catering to professional and institutional product lines. A broad range of products has steadily expanded to cater to such accounts such as Kentucky Fried Chicken (naturally), ECOLABS and Clair to mention a few. Some of the more notable accounts of ACP includes Dollar Tree, Bed Bath and Beyond, Wal-Mart Mexico, T.J. Maxx/Marshall, Sav-A-Lot (Supervalue) and many more.
