Americarb, Inc. produces hot zone component replacement parts for high-temperature vacuum furnace systems in the solar industry; and OEM products for GT solar directional solidification system (DSS) applications. It offers carbon and graphite solutions, graphite foil, carbon composite, machined graphite, and rigid graphite fiberboards; raw materials, such as graphite, fiberboard, felt, foil, and carbon; DSS and Czochralski (CZ) furnace replacement parts; and carbon and graphite felt, such as carbon and graphite rayon based felt, and foil/felt/foil baffles and reflectors. The company also provides halogen purification, AGP high-temperature coating, and graphite foil one side services; and applications engineering, CAD design, rapid prototype, technical support, cost reduction program, special materials, supply chain, E-business, machining, processing, and assembly services. Its rigid graphite fiberboards are used for CZ crystal pullers, DSS solar silicon furnaces, ceramics, SiC, powder metal, carburizing, graphite, and other high-temperature vacuum furnace applications. Americarb, Inc. was incorporated in 2001 and is based in Ashland, Ohio with an advanced carbon and silicon carbide composites research and development facility in Tucson, Arizona. It has manufacturing facilities in Niagara Falls, New York; and YuYao, China.
