Amethyst Marine Services is a Georgetown,GUYANA based Crewing/Manning Agency which was founded in 1997 and is currently managed by a UK educated and trained ex Merchant Navy Officer with 18 years Sea service on Tankers, OBOs and Bulk Carriers. Primary business is the provision of Crew Manning Services to the International Shipping Industry. Recruitment, Training, Supply and deployment of our personnel Worldwide forms an integral part of our daily operations. In recent years our business of supplying Riding Maintenance teams onboard various types of vessels have been steadily growing. Our strong point in this area consists mainly of our teams of highly skilled and experienced Welders,Fitters,Tank/Bilge/Funnel Cleaners and Maintenance crews. Pipe,Plate,Engine and Deck area maintenance and upgrade services are also provided. We have in the past and continue to supply teams of Electricians,AC Technicians,Engine and Deck Fitters,Cleaners and Painters especially to the Cruise Industry during routine Wet and Dry Docking operations at Curacao,Fort Lauderdale,Port Everglades and Freeport Bahamas. Agency support services and Ship Chandlery is also offered to some of our Clients on their specific request for assistance in these areas. Our Office staff currently consists of the following : 1.
