In April 2001, AMI was acquired by HEICO Corporation as a subsidiary of the Electronic Technologies Group. AMI operates independently with Ian Crawford remaining as our CEO along with other key personnel who have been with the company for up to 36 years! Today 55 full-time employees are involved in design, development, and manufacturing. AMI continues to improve existing products and develop new ones for future laser and electro-optics applications.
