Angels for Angels

Angels For Angels helps micro social entrepreneurs become big. We work with local social entrepreneurs to scale great ideas that benefit their communities. And we also work with universities to teach and inspire the next generation of social entrepreneurs. We work with East Africa Social Enterprise Network to find and vet our social entrepreneurs and social enterprises. We work to identify the major obstacles holding back emerging social enterprises, and we work together to overcome these hurdles. All our projects our locally inspired and locally led, providing local solutions to local problems. We also work with Makerere University Business School and National University of Rwanda to teach social entrepreneurship and then host a Social Enterprise Design Competition. We provide seed money to the best student ideas, to get great ideas out of the classroom into the community. And we are also helping pilot a project that links Makerere University Business School students with students from the University of California - San Diego, in the hopes that collaboration across continents can have a truly remarkable impact.
