Angels for Warriors

Angels for Warriors was founded in 2012 by Rogerlyn Velez Cipriano, who took her experience fighting for the benefits her brother, Sgt. Angel Velez, was entitled to and opened Angels for Warriors. Sgt. Velez was severely injured after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ms. Cipriano was determined to ensure that our returning warriors could more easily access the benefits and other critical programs they are entitled to. Angels for Warriors is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) Veteran resource center. We provide information and guidance about the essential resources available to America's returning warriors and their families. Over time, we have raised funds and awareness about the many needs of our Veterans, including employment, housing, health, education, and legal. We work tirelessly with local politicians and other Veteran support organizations to ensure that the veteran is given the proper attention and help they require. We have a mutual ongoing relationship with the Northport VA as well as many local Chambers and Corporations.
