The Animal Surgical Center of Michigan was founded by Dr. Daniel Degner whose vision was to create a marriage between compassionate care and advanced veterinary medicine. First and importantly, we listen to our pet owners, to ensure a clear understanding of the pet's and owner's needs. Second, we provide a diagnosis of the pet's condition and then present the best surgical options for the afflicted pet. Third, our goal is to make sure that the pet's pain is minimized and quality of life is maximized with only necessary treatments. Sometimes, we will recommend against surgery and chose medical therapy only. Our recommendations for your pet is based on evidence-based research studies and our objective clinical experience.
