Established in 1979. In Bistagno, a little town deep in Italy's wine region, owner and chef Antonio Cagnolo was born and raised on a small town farm and mill. "Everything was fresh. The vegetables were from our garden, the eggs from our chickens, and my father hunted and fished. We had fresh truffles and porcini mushrooms. I even stomped the grapes to make the wine!" Since his humble beginnings in Italy, Antonio Cagnolo has emerged as a dynamic force in the field of dining. He has earned national acclaim for the award-winning Italian cuisine served at his venerable Antonello Ristorante and has been the recipient of the prestigious Circle of Fame Awards, Golden Scepter Award and was named "Restaurateur of the Year" by the Southern California Restaurant Writers. Started in 1979 by Antonio Cagnolo always a dream of his to have his own ristorante.
