A One Properties
In 1999, Simon purchased the Klein Dennegeur farmhouse, which was part of a new development called Bayview Heights. Eddie (Simons father) agreed that in his spare time, Simon could sell a few plots he owned in Bayview Heights. Soon after, the developer also asked Simon to help him with sales. In 2000, Simon needed administrative assistance. He joined forces with Eddie (a qualified accountant) to create a one properties. The developers of Dennegeur and Boskloof Eco Estate soon noticed the dominant position a one properties had created in selling plots, and appointed a one properties as the sole selling agent in 2001 and 2002 respectively. In 2003, new offices were purchased in Andries Pretorius Street, Somerset West and in 2008 a more central location at the Elwil Centre in Caledon Street was developed to accommodate clients need for comfort and ease of selecting a short list with the use of sophisticated media technology installed. The market now being served, although still with a strong accent on plot sales, include house sales and rentals as well as assistance in plot and plan projects.
