In 2006, American Precision Avionics was established as a stand-alone entity of American Precision Assemblers, dedicated to the support of the Aviation and Aerospace Industries. Our history in contract manufacturing gives us the breadth of knowledge and experience to excel in this industry. We bring a unique approach to solving the needs of our customers by applying the expertise of our process and quality engineering functions, in a Safety and Value driven environment. This approach allowed American Precision Avionics to attain the highest honor of Cirrus Design Corporations' Supplier of the Year - this, in just our second full year of operation. We competed against hundreds of larger and more tenured suppliers to achieve the top award. Our unique approach establishes Safety, Quality, Reliability and Service, and Cost/Value as the foundation of our mission. State of the art harness and cable processing solutions give us a clear advantage over the traditional assembly methods. The use of our completely Integrated Laser Marking, Cutting, Stripping, Crimping and 100% Crimp Force Monitoring Wire Processing System allows us to continually exceed quality and reliability standards, while simultaneously driving per-unit cost down by automating what traditionally has been a labor intense process. This, combined with the willingness to establish leading edge inventory and materials management programs, allows us to provide unsurpassed customer service responsiveness that has driven down, and in some cases completely eliminated, our customers' inventory investment and exposure. Working upfront hand in hand with our customers' product, quality design engineers, and product managers yields a design solution that is not only robust in its application, but also equally robust in its manufacturability. This makes meeting cost and quality levels much more achievable, while implementing design changes and improvements in a much shorter time interval.
