Advanced Product Design
Advanced Product Design is a small company based in Genoa, OH specializing in carburetor and fuel management systems for all aspects of motorsports. Owner/Operator John Kyle oversees an experienced and ambitious staff who share a common interest in motorsports (every APD employee is a racer themselves). Kyle has accumulated immense recognition for his exploits on the race track; he was the 1997 winner of the World Super Pro Challenge $50,000 event at Mid-Michigan Motorplex, and was a dominant force throughout the North Central portion of the country over the course of that decade. Though his commitment to the growth of APD has cut significantly into his racing schedule in recent years, he still competes on a semi-regular basis to keep in touch with customers, and the trends and technology of sportsman drag racing. While APD's reputation was built on the company's alcohol carburetors and their success, consistency, and tuneability within the sportsman drag racing market, APD also has years of experience and success with circle track and gasoline applications. In addition to their primary line of competition carburetors, APD also offers complete fuel systems for any application (both electric and mechanical). Thanks to an unwavering commitment to excellence, a seasoned, passionate staff, and the use of several in-house test vehicles in addition to APD's in-house dynamometer, APD is proud to be at the forefront of performance technology. APD powers some of the most successful competitors in sportsman racing drag racing. Why do these competitors rely on APD? The same reason that APD professionals put in long days and drive all night from the track to be back at work Monday morning...because at APD "Winning is not only skill, it's about attitude.
