The mission of the Aransas Pass Independent School District Child Nutrition Department, recognizing the vital relationship of nutrition and education, is to ensure that every person is offered a high quality, well-balanced, nutritious meal at breakfast and lunch. We offer friendly service by a qualified staff observing high sanitation and safety standards, utilizing cost-effective management practices, and following the Food Service program guidelines. The Purpose of the Aransas Pass ISD Child Nutrition Department is to administer School Board approved Child Nutrition Programs according to guidelines of the National School Lunch and Child Nutrition Programs and the goals of the National School Lunch Act of 1946, the Child Nutrition Act of 1966, and the School Breakfast program of 1977.
