The Resourcing Business Unit at Apodi is a highly successful team of Recruitment Professionals who specialise in contingency and contract recruitment for major pharmaceutical companies across both commercial and medical sectors. Following on from the growth that we achieved in 2014, Apodi are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to drive our business further into 2015. The resourcing unit has recently completed a high profile recruitment project and secured several new clients which has required a strong focus on delivery. This has led to a need to have a dedicated focus on Business Development in order to capitalise on our strong capability for delivery. This newly created role has the purpose of promoting Apodi services in the marketplace, with a particular focus on resourcing solutions through contingency recruitment, contract teams & vacancy management. The BDE will uncover new business development opportunities and convert these in conjunction with the wider BD team. The Business Development Executive will support the further growth of the business by engaging with Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Medtech clients to drive business into the recruitment unit across both Commercial and Medical/Clinical sectors. The role will involve: • Working with a range of decision makers to uncover recruitment needs • Completing RFI's and pitching for PSL's and volume business • Developing new work streams (ie telehealth, NHS) • Developing presentations for clients • Working with operations and recruitment teams to create solutions for clients Applicants must have: • Experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry in a senior sales/account management or business development role with an exceptional track record and reputation with customers • Strong NHS knowledge • Credibility at senior management level with the ability to constructively challenge customer thinking • A strong track record of developing solutions for customers • An understanding of recruitment processes • Strong presentation skills • Excellent client development skills • Energy, enthusiasm and drive • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative and remain self-motivated • Dynamic with the ability to develop creative customer solutions • Good time management skills • Educated to degree level and ABPI qualified If you would like to apply for this role, please contact Rachel Moores on 01628 500894 01628 500894 or send your CV to [email protected] If this is not your ideal position then please call us on 01628 500894 01628 500894 to discuss other opportunities.
