Apollo believes it is important to practice good corporate and community citizenship. The Company partners with several organizations to provide assistance to various worthy causes in a number of different sectors. These organizations include: The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - Dana-Farber is committed to providing adults and children with the best treatment available today and developing cures for the future. The Dana-Farber Institute and its many partner organizations raise money to advance the many causes for cancer remediation. The Jimmy Fund - The Jimmy Fund solely supports Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, raising funds for adult and pediatric cancer care and research to improve the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world. Every April, the Apollo team participates in The Rally Against Cancer, sponsored by The Jimmy Fund. Apollo teammates from across the country rally to raise money in support of this effort. Pan Mass Challenge - The Pan Mass Challenge is a yearly bike race that raises money for cancer research and treatment. As a partner organization to the Dana Farber Institute, Apollo sponsors the organization in support of fundraising for cancer research. New England Women's Leadership Institute - As a General Sponsor, the intent of the New England Women's Leadership Institute, and Apollo, is to advance and educate women business leaders in New England. UTC/United Way Supplier Golf Tournament - The United Way focuses on assisting communities and families in Education, Income and Health. Every year, Apollo participates in the UTC/United Way Supplier Golf Tournament to assist in raising funds for the United Way. Heartfelt Charities - Every year, Apollo donates to Heartfelt charities through the Christmas card program. Over the past two years, Apollo has donated money through Heartfelt Charities to Juvenile Diabetes, and the American Red Cross. Wounded Warriors - Apollo appreciates the dedication of our returning veterans, especially those that have returned wounded. As appreciation to these vet's, on a yearly basis Apollo donates to the Wounded Warrior Association. Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) Foundation - OI is a genetic disorder characterized by bones that break easily and/or often from little or no apparent cause. The OI Foundation is dedicated to improve the quality of life for people affected by OI through research to find treatments and a cure, education, awareness, and mutual support. Apollo graciously donates money on a yearly basis to the OI Foundation.
