A: It effects local receptors (CB2) located throughout the body that respond to a variety of internal and environmental stresses. These receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system. Our bodies create compounds naturally that work with these receptors - but several compounds in cannabis including THC and CBD work directly with these receptors and can be used to help manage pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation and encourage healthy skin cell growth.
