APP Jet Center is an aviation company operating FBOs (Fixed Based Operations) and airport real estate. It is owned and operated by APP Properties, Inc., a shareholder owned real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in New Canaan, Conn. APP Jet Center operates FBOs in three markets: Fort Pierce, Fla., at St. Lucie County International Airport (FPR); Hayward, Calif. (serving San Francisco), at Hayward Executive Airport (HWD); and Manassas, Va. (serving Washington, D.C., at Manassas Regional Airport (HEF). The Company also owns and operates 65,000 square feet of aircraft hangars at Denver's Centennial Airport (KAPA). Established in 2009, APP Jet Center is repeatedly recognized by the aviation industry for its excellence in service and safety: In 2013 it became the first FBO in the U.S. to complete NATA's Safety 1st Ground Audit program. In 2017 APP Manassas achieved Stage 1 IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) certification, a safety program administered by the International Business Aircraft Council (IBAC).
