Aquifer Distribution

Aquifer Distribution Ltd., was founded by Glenn Wig in 1981, as primarily a wholesale distributor of Goulds Pumps and water systems in the Province of Saskatchewan. As we started to gain market share in the pump business in Saskatchewan, we began diversifying into other areas of business. In 1984 the market demand for our products became evident in the South regions of Saskatchewan, so we opened our Regina office and warehouse with a separate staff. We began developing a full line of fittings, valves and piping for the waterwell industry. As this market grew, we expanded our vendor base to include off shore orders in container quantities of brass fittings, galvanized and black iron fittings, and water well accessories. This became a very intensive but successful addition to our company. The market range began to expand, and soon we were developing our distributor base for these import fittings and valves across Canada and into the United States. With the success of this expansion, we soon ran out of physical warehouse space, so in August 1995, we moved to our current office and warehouse in Saskatoon with total space of 20,000 square feet which also allowed us to expand our in house repair and service facility. Here we can repair, service and test most makes of pumps, electric motors and water treatment equipment.
