Founded in 1992, Aquila quickly established a loyal customer base that grew thanks to word-of-mouth recommendation. From the outset, the directors chose to devote time and attention to keeping existing customers happy as a priority, and now it is inherent within our culture with impressive customer retention statistics, as a result. By 2002 Aquila was undertaking ever-larger installation projects and building a reputation throughout the UK for executing contracts efficiently and effectively, on time and on budget. It was this enviable track record that undoubtedly inspired confidence in our ability and led Peel Airports to award us the contract to supply and install all the Furniture, Fittings and Equipment (FF&E) for the prestigious £100m development of Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield. This proved to be a pivotal moment in the company's history. Twenty years have passed since Aquila first started trading and already this year we have completed eight education projects in the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire region alone, including Kelvin Hall School, a £27.5m specialist science college. We are especially proud of the massive Coopers Edge school in Gloucestershire. Aquila really has become the one-stop-shop solution for both FF&E and individual packages, and not just in Education. We have supplied and installed furniture in prison category facilities and council offices, call-centres and commercial buildings and even a modern church!
