ARAHIA was established in 2010 as a joint trading partnership between Karl Wixon, Director of WIKI Design & Consultancy Ltd (Inc2000), and Christchurch based Rakihia (Rick) Tau, Director of Ihia Ltd (inc2006), both are of Ngi Tahu tribal descent. In 2016 their trading partnership was put 'on hold' with Rick taking up a full time employment role as 'General Manager - Strategy and Influence' for Te Rnanga o Ngi Tahu to help drive forward the development of their tribe.
